Right of Withdrawal

The sale of products via the Internet is governed by Legislative Decree no. 206/05 (articles 50 to 68) which regulates distance contracts, or those stipulated outside of physical stores. These regulations authorize the right of withdrawal or the consumer’s right to return the purchased product and obtain a refund for expenses incurred.
This right is exclusively reserved for individuals (consumers) and thus cannot be wielded by legal entities or individuals acting for purposes related to their professions. To exercise the right of withdrawal a clear statement of the intention to withdraw from the contract must be sent within 10 working days of receipt of the merchandise. The customer is responsible for shipping costs on the returned product.

The right of withdrawal is forfeited if the returned product is incomplete, that is:

  • lacking the original packaging
  • lacking essential elements (accessories, cords, instruction manuals, etc…)
  • damaged, save damage that occurred during shipping.

In the event of partial withdrawal following the purchase of multiple products, shipping costs will not be refunded.

Once the product has been received Maikii will proceed with order cancellation and issue a new invoice / credit note with the updated price and product information.
Partial withdrawal may only be requested once products have been received: otherwise an order may be cancelled by contacting Maikii.

Right of withdrawal procedure

If you have purchased a product on our website and would like to return the item, you should follow the simple procedure below: 1.send a registered letter with return receipt to Maikii within 10 working days of receipt of the merchandise 2.notify the company via e-mail through the Customer Support section or by calling 0422 447793. Within three working days you will be sent a Return Authorization Number (RAN) which will be used to identify your case. 3.indicate on the package the Return Authorization Number (RAN) assigned by Maikii. 4.The customer is responsible for shipping the product correctly in the original packaging and including all accessory items, instruction manuals and etc… that originally came with the product. Maikii will reimburse the cost of the shipped goods, not including shipping, within 14 working days following reshipment of the merchandise. For purchases via PayPal the cost of the product will be re-credited to the customer’s account.

All products sold on Maikiibox.com are covered by the official manufacturer’s warranty, as applicable, and in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6-09-2005.

Credit Card

We accept all major credit cards, including prepaid and rechargeable, issued exclusively within Italy: MasterCard, Diners, American Express.
Orders of over € 400.00 paid for with American Express credit cards are subject to authenticity verification by the relative bodies prior to approval.
These verifications may add 2 working days to order approval.
Credit card payments will incur no extra fees.
Maikii reserves the right to request additional information from the customer such as a fixed phone number or a copy of documents that prove ownership of the card used. If the requested documentation is not provided Maikii reserves the right to reject the order.

PayPal

PayPal is an online payment system that requires customers to open a PayPal account. If this payment method is selected customers will be redirected to PayPal’s website and asked to insert the personal email address and password for their PayPal account or to create a new account. Following registration, payments may be made via PayPal without reinserting this data, even for subsequent purchases. After choosing to pay with PayPal the total will be charged directly to the relative credit (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard) or prepaid (PostePay) card. PayPal protects the purchaser’s information.
All transactions performed in this manner will be confirmed by PayPal via email. The total order price will be debited from the PayPal account at the moment of purchase. In the event of cancellation, the total will be credited to the customer’s PayPal account.

Bank Transfer

This payment method involves the following procedure once an order has been completed:
the bank transfer should be completed within 3 working days of the order (otherwise the order will be cancelled);
the reason for the bank transfer should indicate: the number and date of the order, the full name of the customer;

Bank procedure requires that the transfer be credited to the recipient’s account (Maikii Srl) no sooner than 3-5 working days from its execution.
Products are transferred to the carrier the next working day following order approval, which coincides with receipt of the bank transfer: the aforesaid bank timeframes should thus be added to normal delivery times.

General description of the service

Maikii accepts orders for and delivers to Italy and worldwide.
Maikii confirms the approval of an order by sending an automatic summary email to the email address specified by the customer during the order.
For all delivered products Maikii issues an invoice including the data supplied by the customer.
Maikii prepares the merchandise for the order and assigns it to the carrier in its original manufacturer’s packaging or in a large cardboard box appropriately sealed with Maikii tape or a laminated envelope stamped with the logo of TNT or other carrier used.
The timeframes for assigning products to a carrier are detailed in the “timeframes for carrier assignment” section and vary depending on the payment method chosen. (Hereafter referred to as: “Carrier Assignment”).
Deliveries will take place during working days from Monday to Friday and not on holidays (hereafter referred to as: “Working Day(s)”). Delivery hours are during normal Working Days.
Maikiibox Buy Online uses the following carriers: TNT and Fedex.
Carrier delivery times to customers are detailed in the “delivery times” section and are considered indicative as they may be modified due to force majeure, poor traffic and road conditions, strikes or an act by Authorities.
The customer is partially responsible for shipping costs.
Upon delivery by the carrier, the customer is responsible for checking that:
- the number of delivered goods corresponds to those indicated in the carrier’s transport document.
- the packaging is intact and undamaged, neither wet nor tampered with.
Once the carrier’s transport document has been signed, the customer cannot lodge any complaint concerning the external features of the delivered items.

Timeframes for carrier assignment

Timeframes for Carrier Assignment vary depending on the payment method chosen:
For Credit Card and PayPal payments products will be assigned to the carrier on the Working Day following order approval. Orders of over € 400.00 paid for with American Express credit cards are subject to authenticity verification prior to approval. This verification confirms the ownership of the credit card and will be communicated to the customer; this requires an average of two additional working days to be added to the expected delivery date. Bank Transfer: products are assigned to the carrier on the working day following receipt of payment in the Maikii account (on average 3-5 working days following customer payment).

Complaints

Any complaints concerning delivered products and their features at the time of delivery should be communicated to Maikii by calling 0422 447793 or online by clicking on the Contact us button or sending an email to info@maikii.com.
Damaged products or missing packages: any exterior damage or mismatched package numbers should be immediately disputed with the carrier and the note, “conditional claim” should be appended to the carrier’s transport document; these must be reported via the aforementioned means of communication within 8 days.
Delayed deliveries: Complaints may be sent within 6 days of the expected delivery date or if the product was delivered, on the date of delivery.
Complaints should contain a description of the object and the reasons for the complaint.
Maikii does not settle disputes through extra-judicial entities as per art. 19 of Legislative Decree 70/2003; any dispute will thus be settled through an Ordinary Judge.
